Science (Zoology)

  • Zoology is the branch of science that studies animals, from all the flying things in the air to all that move upon the earth. Students will research and discuss different creatures and then create word processing documents or Powerpoint projects to demonstrate their learning.

    • Discovering new creatures each week
    • Cover habitats and biomes
    • Identify and classify
    • What makes each animal unique
    • Research our own animal and teach it to the class
    • Create PowerPoint presentations
    • Design and build habitat dioramas
    • Create posters

    Some form of technology (iPad/tablet/laptop) with required apps installed is a requirement for this class.

  • Teacher: Sarah-Ann Nicholson-Holden

    Classes will be taught by Sarah-Ann Nicholson-Holden from Rainbow Productions. Sarah-Ann is our head teacher bringing with her over 20 years experience teaching all ages and abilities from Primary to TAFE level. She is currently homeschooling her 3 boys who are 11, 13 &14. Sarah-Ann teaches a range of different classes at all 4 venues.
