Art

  • Art is a diverse range of human activities in creating visual, auditory or performing artworks, expressing the author’s imaginative or technical skill, intended to be appreciated for their beauty or emotional power!
  • Classes may include…

    • Pencil drawing – styles, shading, drawing what you see, abstract – real life.
    • Crayons, pastels, chalk – mediums which work best on dark backgrounds to make vivid pictures.
    • Painting with Acrylics – working with paint, mixing colours, shading and form
    • Papier-mâché projects-  easy sculpture technique for making just about anything
    • Creating with Modelling clay (Scupey/Fimo) – great for décor, jewellery, boxes and beads

    Most materials are provided!

Extra costs may be involved depending on projects chosen by the group at the commencement of the semester, for example personal canvasses for painting.
