About Us

  • HEY Fever has seen a need in the community for quality classes at an affordable price.
Designing our classes so students of all ages can attend classes for one class, or all day!
Growing into different areas to be able to meet the needs of families all over Perth.

    Our favourite quotes are:

  • HEY FEVER is....

    • Home Educated Youth...who come together for different classes to assist in their home education.
    • A place to be edified and enriched, meet new friends and have fun with other children of all abilities, ages and walks of life.
    • An incorporated not-for-profit group. We try and keep the costs as low as possible to make sure as many families as possible can be a part of our classes.
    • For 2019, HEY Fever will be running "Sarah's Sanctuary" - a full and complete educational curriculum incorporating both Part-time Schooling and Part-time Homeschooling
  • HISTORY…..

HEY Fever started in Victoria Park over 12 years ago…with Sport & Drama afternoons once a week. The group grew and separated into two groups, both North & South. HEY Fever North was based at Warwick Leisure Centre from 2009 – 2014. Heading into 2015, Warwick Leisure was having renovations done and HEY Fever North needed to relocate. During 2015 HEY Fever North ran at 2 locations and moved from just sport and drama classes, to having extra classes! We have tried a few different venues and days, finally settling into 2 permanent venues at Carramar Community Centre, Morley & Bibra Lake Community Centre, Bibra Lake.

  • Head Teacher:

My name is Sarah-Ann, a homeschooling mother since January 2008, of 3 boys now aged 13, 15 & 16 years.

I am a qualified teacher with 30 years experience in teaching all ages, abilities and disabilities from Primary to TAFE level. I enjoy bringing out the best in all my students and am passionate about all my students succeeding at whatever they put their minds to.

I teach a range of different classes at both venues, as well as coordinating teaching staff, curriculum development and general running of the group.

  • Administration Manager:

My name is Kirsty and I have been overseeing HEY Fever since January 2011. I home schooled my children since January 2009 and still think it is the most awesome journey I had with my children.

My 3 children (now 23, 22 & 19 years) all participated in the HEY Fever classes and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere of friendship and learning in our group.

My focus is on the general management of the group including correspondence, website development, enrollments, accounts, class timetabling and advertising.
